Independent Strides Endorsed by MOVE International
MOVE International Board of Directors of Bakersfield, California, entered into formal Agreement with Independent Strides on June 19, 2006. The board concluded that our saddle is compatible with the MOVE philosophy and for use in the MOVE program. A story about Karen Szymas-Orr, creator and designer of The Independence saddle is featured in their Fall 2006 newsletter, available online in PDF format.

Equipped for Independence
The November/December 2007 issue of Equestrian Retaile (PDF)r featured an article By Amy Seigel in the INNOVATORS section of their magazine showcasing the development of The Independence saddle by designer, Karen Szymas-Orr.

The June 2008 issue of Exceptional Parents magazine featured an article by Beverly Young describing the successes of 25 individuals who participated in a NARHA Therapeutic Riding Program using the Independence Saddle.
